€189.99

In commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the death of Kawanabe Kyosai (1831-1889), a painter who was active in the late Tokugawa period and the first half of the Meiji era, this exhibition presents Kyosai's paintings, sketches, cotton paintings, etc. in the Kawanabe Kyosai Memorial Museum. At first, we mainly introduced the works of Kyosai, which is an old collection of Erwin von Bälz and is now in the Bälzheim-Bissingen Municipal Museum in Germany, the birthplace of Bälz. In addition, we will trace the whole picture of the rich art world that fascinates people at home and abroad.
