Celebrating Two Contemporary Geniuses: Jakuchū and Buson


A catalog of exhibitions held in 2015 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Itō Jakuchū and Yosa Buson. There are about 220 works by Jakuchū and Buson, which were active in the same period, focusing on masterpieces and new works, including Chinese and Korean paintings influenced by the two, and works by contemporary painters. At the end of the book, in addition to the job description, we can find an explanation in English.
